And this is a good thing.
“Ain’t no brakeman on this train” wailed John Mayall and the BluesBreakers. Mayall (British bluesman and harp player) pumped up the raucous, blues-lovin’, guitar-appreciative audience for a good 90 minutes before Dave Mason took the stage and once again poured hot-fudge guitar notes all over his delicious ice cream songs. It’s rare that I see the same artist within a six-month time span, but the Belly Up Tavern offers such an intimate setting that it’s hard to stay away.

Great show tonight...Dave was amazing...most definitely one of the "Guitars Greats!" ...ok...but what about that local guy... the one Dave said was working at his house...the one who told him, he could play guitar too? The one that actually could?...WOW...he made it look eeeasy..it looked like it was coming from his heart..where's his picture?...yes he was yummy..but his pretty face was just the cherry on top of his smooth and soulful performance. I need to know his name...he's one to watch!
